MANAVA RATHNA AWARD (2016)
The Manava Rathna Award was instituted by Mr. Sam Cherian, Founder Trustee of M/s. Schevaran Scientific Foundation. Kamakshi Hospital was awarded this prestigious honour in recognition of its charity.
Padma Bhushan Sri. K. V. Kamath, President of New Development Bank of BRICS Countries presented the award to Late. Sri. M. Vinod Rao, the first Managing Trustee of Bantwal Sulochana Madhava Shenoi Trust which manages Kamakshi Hospitals.
The current Managing Trustee, Mr. Mahesh Shenoy, Administrator, Dr. K. R. Kamath, and Dr. C. Umesh Kamath, the Medical Superintendent were also felicitated on the occasion.
